Reuth is launching one of the most ambitious healthcare and housing projects in Israel’s history: a new, world-class rehabilitation hospital and affordable housing campus near the Tel Aviv waterfront.
We’re seeking a Director of Major Gifts to help lead our international fundraising — someone who builds strong relationships, tells a compelling story, and closes transformational gifts. The ideal candidate is strategic, mission-driven, and ready to make a real impact.
We’re looking for a self-starter who can open new doors and build relationships from the ground up. This role requires strong personal and professional networks, with the ability to hit the ground running and connect us with new donors around the world.

Key Responsibilities
Donor Cultivation, Solicitation & Stewardship
• Build and manage a portfolio of international major gift prospects
• Develop and implement tailored strategies for cultivation, solicitation, and closing of major gifts
• Provide personalized stewardship and ensure donor satisfaction
Campaign Development & Growth
• Support the CDO in cultivating global philanthropic partnerships — including with federations and foundations
• Identify new donors and help open strategic doors
• Assist with planning and executing donor visits and events in Israel and abroad
Proposal & Materials Development
• Collaborate with the communications and grant writing team to produce compelling proposals and reports
• Ensure timely follow-up, pledge documentation, and impact reporting
Tracking, Coordination & Accountability
• Maintain accurate donor records in Salesforce
• Provide regular updates on donor engagement and fundraising progress
• Meet clear fundraising targets as part of Reuth’s ambitious capital campaign, with performance evaluated based on funds raised

 

Qualifications
• 5+ years of experience in major gifts, donor engagement, or institutional fundraising
• Familiarity with international Jewish philanthropy — federations, family foundations, and giving networks
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Highly organized with strong follow-through
• Comfort with CRM systems (Salesforce experience a plus)
• Willingness to travel as needed
