Our Story
For over eight decades, Reuth has set a high standard in rehabilitation, care, and housing by recognizing that each individual has a unique story.
Founded in 1937 by pioneering women led by Paula Brett, Reuth began by helping immigrants, refugees, and Holocaust survivors through work programs, meals, kindergartens, and community housing.
In 1961, Reuth established its Tel Aviv Rehabilitation Hospital, now Israel’s largest, providing physical, mental, and social rehabilitation. The association also operates senior homes in Tel Aviv and Jerusalem and subsidized community housing, fostering supportive, vibrant communities for older adults.
Guided by the Spirit of Reuth, we combine compassion, optimism, and excellence to improve lives and society.
Our Values
Reuth’s values—humanity, empathy, dedication, and excellence—guide all our work, from rehabilitation to senior care and community housing.
We focus on people, not cases, putting patients and residents at the center of everything we do. Our teams combine personalized care with technological and academic excellence, advancing rehabilitation and geriatrics in Israel and beyond.
At Reuth, there are no lost causes—perseverance, compassion, and expertise drive every success.
