"We Won't Stop Singing"

Meet our choir. A unique and first-of-its-kind project whose members suffer from a language disorder (aphasia) caused by brain damage. Aphasia can manifest in varying degrees of severity affecting speech, comprehension, reading, or writing.

Every week, dozens of participants meet under the guidance of the Speech Therapy Unit team and in collaboration with Tamar Giladi Horowitz, a singer, creator, voice development teacher, and music lecturer – and they simply sing.

Imagine a patient who cannot express themselves and communicate in daily life, and suddenly they receive a stage and an opportunity to feel equal among equals, to sing and produce sounds.

This is exactly what happened to Chaim, Bettina, and Ami, and since then, they haven’t stopped singing.
